Start a Blog + Do All The Things*
This option is for the blogger who is not yet a blogger! I take you step by step creating your new blog by setting up hosting to installing a theme, branding, the works.
- Setting up hosting through BlueHost**
- Setting up a blog on WordPress
- Obtaining your very own domain***
- Installing StudioPress Theme ($100-130 value for the theme alone)
- Styling theme with fonts, colors, widget placement ($200 value for install + style)
- Creating custom branding with fonts, colors, design
- Creating custom blog header ($175 value for header + branding)
- Setting you up on social media sites including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest
- Sending you the stylesheet
- Installing necessary plugins for a functioning blog
- Installing my favorite WordPress plugins AND sending you the details and explanation of each one
- ALL THE THINGS: all of the 10 add-ons you see listed below are included in this package! ($600 value)
*This cost covers 15 hours of work. After that, we move to the $50 per hour add-on cost. I will let you know if we are going over on time for each particular area so you won’t be surprised. I promise I want this to be fair for both of us!

- Installing new Studio Press Theme (I work exclusively with Studio Press Themes at this time because of the high quality + functionality. ~$100 per theme.)
- Styling Theme with fonts, colors, widget placement
- Creating custom branding with fonts, colors
- Creating a custom header (includes 3 edits or 12 total options)
- Sending you the style sheet for your future reference.
Add-On Blog Makeover Options:
You can add on any of these items once you have selected the main item OR you may pick from these items with the $25 a la carte fee.
Mail Chimp Set Up + Style
Do you have an e-mail list? You should! An e-mail list is a great way to connect with your readers in a more personal way, send out important messages or offers, or just to let readers know you have a new post for them to check out.
- Set up Mail Chimp account (free account or paid account* starting at $10 per month that includes an autoresponder)
- Style RSS e-mail for subscribers
- Set up opt-in on your website
*An autoresponder is a group of e-mails you set up to automatically be delivered to your new subscribers. You can use these e-mails to introduce yourself, tell readers why your blog is so special, introduce them to the site, send exclusive tips/sales and overall turn the subscriber into a true fan. I obviously recommend this, but you can always start out with the free site and move onto the paid version when you are ready.
Sumo.me is a powerful plugin that includes share buttons + e-mail opt-ins.
- Set up sumo.me
- Style share buttons
- Style e-mail opt-in (requires that you have an e-mail subscriber list)
Custom Social Media Buttons
This option includes EITHER:
-Installing + setting up a premium social media plugin (not a free one) that shows follower counts
OR
-Creating custom social media buttons
